FUFA Juniors League: Perfect Start For Maroons And Mbarara

After six months, the new FUFA Juniors League season started on Saturday afternoon with two games on matchday one and both home teams emerged victorious. Mbarara City JT secured a slim 1-0 win over URA FC JT thanks to a Robert Bukuru lone strike.

In the second game of the day, Maroons JT registered a 2-0 win over Kitara JT. Emor Ogwang and Okello Naphita netted a goal each in the second stanza of the game to hand Maroons a perfect start in Luzira.

The league which comprises of players under the age of 17 continues on Sunday afternoon with five games as defending champions BUL FC JT visits Express FC JT in Wankulukuku.

Last year’s runners up Vipers SC JT visits Gaddafi FC in Jinja, while Soltilo Bright Stars JT hosts SC Villa JT in Ntinda.

In other games, Wakiso Giants FC JT will be welcoming Busoga United while KCCA FC Soccer Academy will visit NEC FC JT in Bugolobi.
