SC Villa booked their spot in the FUFA Super 8 semifinals after a goalless draw with KCCA at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba, on Friday.
Villa carried a 2-1 lead from the first leg, and that slim edge was enough to see them through in a tense Kampala Derby.
The Jogoos started brightly, with Hassan Mubiru causing problems for KCCA’s defense, but they lacked the final touch.
KCCA nearly leveled the tie before halftime when Brian Jjara set up Rogers Mugisha, only for his effort to miss narrowly.
Charles Lwanga also threatened twice after the break, but Villa’s backline stood firm.
The draw confirmed the semifinal lineup, with Villa now set to meet defending champions BUL in a battle for a place in the final while URA face NEC FC.
