The FUFA Women Elite League kicked off on Saturday, October 21st, with 12 goals scored on matchday one.
Three home teams won their games, with only Tagy HS WFC winning an away game. The other two games ended in draws.
Olila HS WFC thrashed Sacred Heart Ladies FC 6-0 in the opening game played in Soroti.

Docus Lwalisa netted a hat-trick, while Daphine Apio, Ailigat Immaculate, and Atwani Brenda added a goal each to seal the big victory.
She Corporate FC got off the mark with a convincing 2-0 win over Tooro Queens in a game played at Mubs Arena in Nakawa.
Striker Jesca Namanda netted a brace for the Sharks to start with a victory over a stubborn Tooro Queens side.
Namanda also plays for Rines SS WFC in the FUFA Women Super League on a double license.
Other matchday one results
At Ggangu Play Ground in Busabala, captain Maria Nabanja‘s second-half goal was enough as Tagy HS WFC edged Golstar HS Ladies 1-0.
Ehcos WFC never turned up for their game against Lango Queens FC, who were awarded a walkover and three points.
Meanwhile, newcomers She Geme held Isra Academy in a goalless draw, while Gyco Girls FC and Byafaayo Queens FC also shared spoils in a boring goalless draw.
The FUFA Women Elite League will resume on November 4th with Matchday Two.
Tagy HS WFC will host Isra Academy WFC, Byafaayo Queens FC will visit Ehcos WFC, and Tooro Queens FC will welcome Goldstar Ladies FC.
On November 5th, She Corporate will visit Dynamic Jjeza FC, Olila HS WFC will visit Lango Queens FC, and Sacred Heart Ladies FC will host Gyco Girls’ Soccer Club.
