FUFA Women Elite League’s She Geme FC Unveils 2023/24 Season Squad

FUFA Women Elite League side She Geme FC has unveiled its 2023/24 season squad ahead of the kickoff next week.

The squad is comprised of 26 players, including key names like Mary Kemigisa, who joined from Tooro Queens and is also a former player of Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC, and Martha Nalunkuma, the 2018/19 FUFA Women Elite League finalist who played for She Makerere FC last season.

During the unveiling, the club president, Rev. Fr. Jude Kasaija, revealed the club’s targets for the new season:

“We have a strong team, I believe the technical team have recruited well and our target is to win the league and gain promotion to FUFA Women Super League.”

“I know it’s a long journey to win the league but we will work as a team and provide everything in time to enable the team execute their work.”

She Geme FC has been pitted in the Elizabeth Group alongside She Corporate FC, Tooro Queens FC, Dynamic Jjeza, Isra Soccer Academy, Goldstar WFC, and Tagy HS WFC.

In the opening game, She Geme FC will visit Isra Academy on Sunday 22nd October at Highland SS Play Ground in Kisaasi.
