The third day of 2025 will be an evening to remember, as the Futsal Super League witnessed arguably its best crowd record.
The top-of-the-league battle game between Crown Lubiri and Park FC was played inside a packed Arena, and the crowd was on their feet until the full-time whistle.
Against all odds, defending champions Park FC held their nerves and handed Crown Lubiri their first loss on the first game day of 2025.

The clash took place at Old Kampala Futsal Arena on Friday evening, ending 3-1 with the results guiding the winner, Park FC to the top of the table besting Crown Lubiri with two points.
Goals arrived at opening and closing moments of the game with Abasi Muluya Junior netting first in the fourth minute of the play.
From there, Park FC’s display was much more tactical in containing Crown Lubiri’s aggressiveness until Michael Abura doubled their lead with four minutes remaining on the clock.
However, Crown pulled a goal back through a penalty kick taken by Abdinasir Omar. They pushed forward for an equaliser but Joshua Aziku punished them instead.
Park FC now has 24 points in nine games while Crown on 22 points occupies the second position, ahead of Mengo City by a point.
Goals rained in other games
Fast forward, the last game on the menu saw Mengo City thrash Nansana ASKA 7-0. Ian Tugume scored a hat-trick, Sharifu Opuuli got a brace while Farouk Tumwesigye and Male Anthony netted once.
Earlier on the day Kabuusu Clouds came from behind thrice to defeat bottom-placed and pointless Edgars Youth Programmee 8-3.
Tonny Ssemwogerere and Gaddafi Bazanyanengo both scored a hat-trick while Najib Muwonge scored twice for Kabuusu Clouds.
Kabowa Dream Team got back to winning ways thanks to a 5-3 victory over Kisugu FC. In the only draw of the evening, Kisenyi FC surrendered a three-goal lead this drawing 4-4 with Lubaga Grameen.
