Mengo City FC mounted a strong comeback to climb to the top of the Boys standings as the Futsal Super League Frenzy Edition returned with entertaining action in both the boys’ and girls’ categories.
The day’s headline match saw Mengo overturn an early setback to beat Kabowa Dream Team 2–1. Kabowa took the lead in the 11th minute through Kasozi Elijah, briefly putting Mengo on the back foot.
Mengo responded eight minutes later when Muhammad Jamar finished neatly to level the score and swing momentum their way.
Growing in confidence, they pushed forward and found the winner five minutes after the restart, Abdul Razak striking in the 25th minute to seal all three points and send Mengo to the summit.
Elsewhere in the Boys section, Lubiri Falcons produced a clinical display to beat Lubaga Grameen 3–0, combining sharp attack with disciplined defending.
Entebbe Cheetahs also registered a comfortable 3–0 win over Old Kampala to boost their position on the table.
In the Girls category, Lubiri Falcons capped an impressive matchday with another dominant performance, overpowering Entebbe Cheetahs 3–0 to maintain their strong run of form.
