The Futsal Super League is set to sail into Matchday 16 as four on-form sides face off as part of the six encounters on Friday, 28th March at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

Mengo City shall entertain Kabuusu Clouds at 7 pm

Living in the best form of the league with a 14-game unbeaten run, the second-placed side in the league will be tested by Kabuusu Clouds, a team which has raised its performance in the last two games of the league.

In the last game, Mengo City beat Kisugu FC 8-3 with Ian Tugume netting his second hat-trick in his debut season.

Keeping the side on form, Mengo City results have been decided by a variety of players like Abdulkarim Tebela, Sharif Opuuli, Ian Tugume, Anthony Male, Samuel Omara and Farouk Tumwesigye, who has been absent in recent games due to school commitment at St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende.

Since losing the opening game of the season against defending champions Park FC 7-5, Mengo City launched a form which has seen them accumulate 33 points, just two behind league leader Park FC.

Their opponents on the day, Kabuusu Clouds, registered the biggest win of Matchday 15 by winning 9-3 against QC Mbarara, with their star players in Gadaffi Bazanyanengo and Tony Ssemwogerere scoring.

The two players have 40 goals in between them, with Bazanyanengo leading the duo with 22 goals. Kabuusu Clouds sit 5th after collecting 23 points from 15 games.

Park FC vs Edgar’s Youth programme at 8 pm

In another fixture to watch, Park FC shall take on Edgar’s Youth Programme. Park FC stands on an 11-game unbeaten run and has lost only once since the beginning of the season.

Meanwhile, Edgar’s, the youngest team in the league, is turning around their campaign after losing 8 straight games to start the season. They have dropped only six points in the last seven games.

Both sides managed to scoop maximum points in the last outing, though Edgar’s looks sharper than Park FC in recent form after starting to score goals from different angles.

Brian Olwa, Mustafa Ssemakula, Eze Kombi and Charles Okello are the players to lead against Park FC, a side which always beats them in the second half, though this time the Adam Masembe-coached side is going into the fixture for the first time in better form.

Park FC, under Alex Ssegawa, who has been in charge following a busy schedule of Sula Matovu elsewhere, have been relying on Jalil Zimula and Michael ever since the departure of their top scorer Abbas Muluya Junior.

Other Fixtures
