The race to the last four reaches a defining moment this Friday, February 27, 2026, as the Futsal Uganda Cup quarter-finals light up the Okla Futsal Arena in Old Kampala.
With four high stakes fixtures, two in the women’s category and two in the men’s, only the sharpest teams will survive the night and secure a place in the semi-finals.
Women’s Quarter-Finals
The action kicks off at 5:00 PM with Kisenyi taking on the Edgars Youth Programme in a highly anticipated rematch. Earlier in the competition, Kisenyi triumphed over Edgars 5-2 in the qualifiers.
At 6:00 PM, Mbarara QC faces off against the Entebbe Cheetahs in what promises to be a thrilling battle.
QC, inspired by Hadijjah Nandago, was the standout team in the qualifiers, netting 10 goals against a hapless Kabowa Dream Team.
They will be looking to replicate that success against the Cheetahs, who are making their competition debut this season after receiving a bye in the qualifiers.
Men’s Quarter-Finals
The intensity ramps up at 7:00 PM when Kisenyi returns to the court to battle Lubiri Falcons.
Kisenyi advanced to the quarter-finals after receiving a bye in the qualifiers, while Lubiri, despite losing 4-3 to Kabowa Dream Team in the qualifiers, reached the last eight as one of the best losers.
The final fixture of the evening at 8:00 PM pits the Entebbe Cheetahs against Mengo City, with many anticipating a one sided affair.
Mengo excelled in the qualifiers, dispatching Nansana ASKA 4-1, while Entebbe Cheetahs missed the qualifiers due to a bye received during the draws
Following last week’s quarter-finals, Mengo City and Nansana ASKA have already secured their spots in the women’s semi-finals, while QC Mbarara and Edgars Youth Programme have also progressed to the semis for the men’s category.
