Newcomers Wakiso Hill WFC are on the road against Asubo Ladies FC in the match day 12 of FUFA Women Super league this Saturday morning at Kawanda SS playground, kickoff at 10:00AM.
Fighting to get maximum points to stay in the league, coach Rogers Nkugwa is facing Asubo, a team he saved from relegation last season but now should help his new bosses to beat his old bosses.
This marks Nkugwa’s second game in charge after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Kampala Queens in their last league fixture. Against a similarly struggling Asubo side, Wakiso Hill will be looking to bounce back and earn valuable points.
In the last league meeting, Wakiso Hill WFC easily defeated Asubo Ladies 3-1, in a game that was played at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
A victory for Asubo, will take them to 4th position with 14 points if Rines, Uganda Martyrs, Lady Doves and UCU Lady Doves fail to win.
While bottom side Wakiso Hill WFC will need a win to go to 8 points, two points above the red zone and will improve their chances of surviving relegation this season.
Both teams have their full squads available for selection to fight for the three points in a tough game.
