2025/26 FUFA Women Super League
- She Corporate 4-1 Uganda Martyrs
She Corporate FC kicked off a new chapter under Burundian coach Beylse Ininahazwe with an emphatic 4–1 victory over Uganda Martyrs Lubaga as the 2025/26 FUFA Women Super League began on Saturday at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
Playing their first match under the new gaffer and at their new home ground, the Sharks thrilled their fans with a commanding display that set the tone for what could be a bright campaign.
Forward Jesca Namanda led the way with a brace, while Rebecca Nakato and Sandra Kisakye added a goal each to complete the rout. Nusula Nakintu netted Uganda Martyrs’ only goal, but it did little to trouble the hosts.
She Corporate dominated early on and got their breakthrough just before halftime when Namanda was fouled in the box and converted the resulting penalty.
Nakintu briefly leveled five minutes after the restart, capitalizing on a loose ball, but Kisakye quickly restored the lead with a composed finish following a swift counter.
Nakato then curled in a superb free kick to make it 3–1 before Namanda wrapped up the win in stoppage time, rounding the goalkeeper to slot home her second of the day.
For Ininahazwe, it was a perfect debut — one that showcased She Corporate’s attacking flair and determination to reclaim their place among the league’s top contenders.
Elsewhere, Amus College salvaged a late point at home as Shayline Opisa’s strike canceled out Esther Babirye’s opener for St. Noa.
League action continues Sunday with Asubo Ladies hosting She Maroons at Kampala Quality Playground, Rines visiting Makerere University, and Lady Doves welcoming Olila High School in Masindi.
