Reigning FUFA Women Super League champions Kampala Queens roared back to form on Sunday, thrashing Rines SS 5–2 in Wakiso to headline an action-packed Matchday Three.

After two cagey outings, the Queens of Soccer reminded everyone why they wear the crown,  attacking with flair, confidence, and ruthless precision.

Zaitun Namaganda and Kamiyati Naigaga each bagged a brace, while Catherine Nagadya added the fifth to cap a commanding performance.

Rines SS showed flashes of fight, pulling two back through Patricia Nanyanzi and Eva Nagayi, but their defense couldn’t contain Kampala Queens’ speed and fluid combinations up front.

The win lifted Kampala Queens to joint top of the table on seven points, level with She Corporate and Kawempe Muslim Ladies, all unbeaten after three matches.

At the Valley Ground, Kawempe Muslim continued their steady start with a hard-fought 2–1 win over newcomers St. Noa.

It wasn’t plain sailing for the four-time champions, who had to dig deep to overcome the spirited debutants.

Jovia Nakagolo and Latifah Nakasi scored crucial goals for Kawempe, while Giovanna Aketowanga’s late strike for St. Noa proved only a consolation.
