2025/26 FUFA Women Super League | First Round Finale

  • Rines SS 0-2 Kawempe Muslim
  • Kampala Queens 3-0 Lady Doves
  • Olila HS 0-0 Amus College

On Saturday, December 13, in the FUFA Women’s Super League, giants Kawempe Muslim Ladies and Kampala Queens bounced back from disappointing performances.

Away to Kabaka Kyabaggu, Kawempe Muslim Ladies defeated hosts Rines 2-0 to get back on the winning path after a 2-0 defeat handed to them by Makerere University Ladies last Saturday.

Latifa Nakasi scored the goals at both ends of the game. She scored the first goal in the first minute and returned to the score sheet to seal the win in the dying minutes at the 90+2 minute mark.

With that win, Kawempe Muslim Ladies re-established a 5-point gap from second-place She Corporate, with 9 wins, a draw, and a loss from 11 matches.

She Corporate will have a game tomorrow to match the leaders in the number of games played.

From Wakiso to Lugogo, the major celebration hit Kampala Queens, jubilating their first win after going three winless games, including two losses in that period.

The revival win came over Lady Doves, whom Kampala Queens beat 3-0 at Omondi Stadium in Lugogo. In-form Catherine Nagadya stood out with a brace that took her goal tally of the season to 9, becoming the league’s top scorer so far.

The other goal was scored by Joan Ainembabazi in the 70th minute, adding to Nagadya’s 28th minute goal, which sealed the win in the 90th minute.

Meanwhile, in the Eastern Derby, Olila High School and Amus College shared the spoils with a goalless draw at Olila High School ground in Soroti.

The league will commence tomorrow, Sunday, December 14, with two fixtures marking the end of the first round of the 2025-2026 season.
