Kawempe Muslim Ladies and She Corporate have pulled away from the rest in the FUFA Women Super League, maintaining a seven point gap over third placed Kampala Queens and turning the title race into a straight fight between the two.

On Saturday, both sides delivered again. Kawempe were in control from start to finish as they beat Uganda Martyrs 3-0 at home.

Asia Nakibuuka opened the scoring, Krusum Namutebi added the second, and captain Agnes Nabukenya wrapped it up to keep her side top of the table.

She Corporate kept pace with a hard earned win on the road. In a tight match against Amus College, new signing Sumaya Komuntale struck in the 85th minute to seal a 1-0 victory and ensure the leaders remain level on points.

Both teams now have 32 points, with Kawempe staying ahead thanks to a better head to head record, an edge that could matter in the final run-in.

Elsewhere, Lady Doves beat Maroons FC Women 1-0, Rines SS WFC defeated Olila High School WFC 4-1, and St. Noa Girls WFC edged Makerere University WFC 3-2.

Next weekend, Kawempe travel to Luzira to face She Maroons, while She Corporate host Lady Doves at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
