The last time the two teams met in Luzira, Uganda Martyrs came from a goal down to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Latifah Nakasi and Brenda Munyana.

Last season, Uganda Martyrs defeated She Maroons 1-0 in the final of FUFA Women’s Cup thanks to Catherine Nagadya’s second half strike.

Uganda Martyrs captain Latifah Nakasi, has scored four goals and registered one assist in the last three games against She Maroons and she’ll be leading the striking line this evening.

Sumayah Nalumu who had a knock at the U20 National Team is back and expected to feature for the visitors while the entire team is available for selection.

For She Maroons, the entire squad is available for selection but they’ll miss their head coach Simon Peter Ocuka on the touchline who’s attending the CAF B coaching course in Njeru and his assistant Justine Okullo will fill the void.

Okullo Justine believes that the girls will do their best to collect the three points.

“Uganda Martyrs is a very big team that holds good history against us but we believe that its time to get back to winning ways.”

Current league top scorer Lillian Kasuubo (3 goals), will be a player to watch and will lead She Maroon’s hunt for goals.
