2025/26 FUFA Women Super League | MD 11 | First Round Finale

  • St Noa Girls 0-1 She Corporate
  • Uganda Martyrs 1-0 She Maroons
  • Rines SS 0-2 Kawempe Muslim
  • Kampala Queens 3-0 Lady Doves
  • Olila HS 0-0 Amus College

Molly Naava Nabitaka was the difference on a tense afternoon at Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium, producing a masterclass in goal to steer She Corporate to a tense 1–0 win over St Noa Girls and secure a strong end to the first round.

The match burst into life almost immediately. Just two minutes in, Maureen Nankinga unleashed a long range strike that flew past St Noa goalkeeper Lillian Nakirya, handing She Corporate an early lead and her first goal of the season. From there, the Sharks were pushed onto the back foot.

St Noa took control of possession and poured forward in search of an equaliser, but they found Naava in inspired form.

The She Corporate goalkeeper was calm, alert and commanding, denying the hosts from close range and reacting sharply to efforts from distance to keep her side ahead at the break.

The story barely changed after halftime. St Noa pressed with purpose, dominating territory and piling on pressure, while She Corporate struggled to find an outlet.

Time and again, Naava came to her side’s rescue, cutting out crosses, parrying shots and holding firm as frustration crept into the hosts’ play.

When the final whistle blew, it was clear whose afternoon it had been.

St Noa were left to rue missed chances, while She Corporate celebrated a win built on early efficiency and outstanding goalkeeping.

Naava was deservedly named Woman of the Match as the Sharks closed the first round in second place, two points behind leaders Kawempe Muslim Ladies on 28 points after 11 games.

Elsewhere, Uganda Martyrs High School WFC continued their rise with a 1–0 win over She Maroons FC, Brenda Munyana’s 60th-minute strike earning both the points and the Woman of the Match award.

League leaders Kawempe Muslim Ladies bounced back from their first loss of the season with a solid 2–0 victory over Rines SS WFC at Kabaka Kyabaggu, Latifah Nakasi scoring in each half to move to six goals for the campaign.
