On this Saturday morning, Rines SS WFC will host Lady Doves while She Maroons will be visiting UCU Lady Cardinals in Mukono in the first game of the second round.

In Wakisha, Rines who are sitting in relegation zone will be trying their best to register a victory as they host Lady Doves to jump over the red zone.

The believers stunned Rines in the first leg when they humiliated them with a massive 5-1 win in Masindi. Olivia Babirye and Everlyn Nandera both scored a brace and Margret Namande added one while Amina Nababi netted the consolation for Rines.

A victory for Rines will help them go to the 7th position with 11 points while a win for Lady Doves will help them go to third place if She Maroons fail to win their game.

Defensive Clash in Mukono

In Mukono, UCU Lady Cardinals will be welcoming She Maroons in a tough game between two defensively strong sides. In the last league meeting that was played in Luzira, the two teams shared spoils in a goalless draw.

She Maroons strengthened their squad with over three players but the key names were defender Bridget Nabisaalu and midfielder Faith Apio who joined the Luzira based side from UCU Lady Cardinals, a side they’ll be facing on Saturday morning in their league debut for She Maroons.

Sitting in the third position and without their striker Lillian Kasuubo who went to Kampala Queens on loan, She Maroons will have to do their best to score against the second best defence in the league.

UCU have conceded five goals in the first round, only Kawempe have conceded fewer (4) so far, proving a point of proper defending for coach Magoba‘s side but they’re also the second in the least number of goals scored (7).

However, the Mukono based side lost their goalkeeper Hadijah Nalongo who moved to She Corporate FC and Faith Apino who joined She Maroons. The two were key pillars of the club in the first leg.

Victory for She Maroons narrows the gap to the top by 5 points, while UCU can climb to 3rd with a win.
