She Corporate FC continued their impressive start to the FUFA Women Super League with a comfortable 2–0 win over Asubo Ladies FC at the FUFA Technical Centre on Saturday, strengthening their position among the early title challengers.
Backed by their home fans, the “Sharks” dominated from the start, creating numerous chances.
However, Asubo Ladies’ resilient defence held firm in the first half, keeping the hosts frustrated until the break.
The deadlock was broken in the 54th minute when Rebecca Nakato fired home a stunning strike to put She Corporate ahead.
Ten minutes later, Cissy Nakate sealed the victory, finishing off a slick team move that showcased the Sharks’ attacking sharpness.
Asubo Ladies pressed late on but couldn’t breach She Corporate’s solid backline, allowing the home side to record another clean sheet and extend their unbeaten run.
The victory underlines She Corporate’s growing confidence and balance in both attack and defence as the season gathers pace.
Elsewhere, in Masindi, Lady Doves and Uganda Martyrs played out an entertaining 2–2 draw full of attacking intent.
In Soroti, Amus College bounced back with a 3–1 win over She Maroons, courtesy of a brace from Esther Namataka and a first-half strike from Ruth Nyakato.
Lillian Kasuubo scored a consolation for She Maroons in the second half.
