A group of Ugandans abandoned their beds to hand Netball national team, The She Cranes a heroic welcome on Wednesday morning at Entebbe International Airport.
The team landed at 3am from Birmingham, England after finishing fifth at the just concluded Commonwealth Games having defeated South Africa in the 5th place playoffs.

Now, focus shifts to Africa Netball World Cup Qualifiers, for the Cape Town 2023 Netball World Cup to be hosted by Pretoria between 20th and 27th August 2022.
Uganda are in Pool B alongside Eswatini, Kenya, Malawi and Zambia. The She Cranes plus South Africa already sealed their qualification thanks to good ranking.
