The 2023 Victoria Cup, a tournament played between Uganda and Kenya teed off today morning at the par-72 Uganda Golf Club, Kampala.
Yesterday evening saw a successful opening ceremony which included; the official practice round, flag-raising, and photo opportunities at the host venue.
After Day 1 action (rounds 1 and 2), teams will be out again on Friday in search of more points as they battle for bragging rights in rounds three, four, and five.
The final day will have the singles competition as well as the subsidiary event before the winner will be announced at the closing ceremony on Saturday evening.
After a halt of two years, the tournament returned in 2022 at Limuru Club in Nairobi, Kenya with the home side winning the tournament.
