Following huge disappointments in the past two seasons, Bulemeezi Ssaza FC has opted for early preparations, bringing in experienced Edward Gololo as a technical advisor to support the coaching staff headed by Leonard Ssekamatte.

The announcement came on February 23, with over three months still until the Plascon-sponsored Buganda Masaza Cup kick-off with a game that will be hosted in Buwekula.

Coach Leo, who was an assistant to Medi Nyanzi at Kyadondo and a trainer under Simon Peter Mugerwa at the three-times Buganda Masaza Cup champions, will be assisted by Anthony Bongole and Nasibu Mukasa.

Both Leo’s assistants are equipped with experience in Masaza Cup coaching grades, both having been head coaches at Bulemeezi neighbors Buluuli in recent times, and both of them have served other Masaza Cup teams.

The technical wing announced is tasked with getting Bulemeezi back into the Masaza Cup force. Bulemeezi won the title in 2013, 2019, and 2012, though they have failed to pass the group stage in the previous two years.
