Iteka Services Football Club clinched a dramatic 3-1 comeback victory against Ggaba Taxi Park, advancing to the Hamz Cup round of 16 after an intense match at Hamz Stadium Nakivubo.
Ggaba Taxi Park initially took the lead with a 57th-minute penalty from Sulaiman Katongole. However, Iteka Services FC refused to give up. The Bus men, as they’re known, found their equalizer in the 83rd minute thanks to Muhammad Sseruyange, forcing the game into extra time with the score tied at 1-1.
The momentum shifted in extra time. Leonel Makumaya put Iteka Services in front at the 97-minute mark, and Jonathan Mwandha sealed the win, securing their spot as the 13th team to reach the last 16 of the Hamz Cup.
