Vying for a big cash prize, everything is set for the HAMZ Cup final between Kafumbe 1 and Arrows Arcade on December 19 at HAMZ Stadium Nakivubo.
The event is scheduled for this Friday and will feature two games, Kafumbe 2 will play Pentagon at 3:00 pm ahead of the final, which will kick off at 6:00 pm.
The tournament, which has had over 40 teams participating since February 2025, will see the winner take home 50,000,000 Ugandan Shillings.
The finalist will be rewarded with 25,000,000 Shillings, while the third and fourth placed teams will take home 15,000,000 and 10,000,000 Shillings respectively.
The team with the largest fan base will be rewarded with 1,000,000 Uganda Shillings, while the fair play award will go with 500,000 Uganda Shillings.
Regarding the individual awards, the most valuable player will be given 1,000,000 Shillings, while other winners including Best Coach, Best Goalkeeper, and others will all take home 500,000 Shillings.
This was confirmed in the press conference held on Monday, December 15 at HAMZ Stadium Nakivubo Press Center.
Ali Sulaiman Ssentonga, who played for Vienna Arcade, is the leading top scorer with 10 goals, just one ahead of Robert Ssewanyana of Numark/Life team and Ashraf Kigozi, who has a chance to add to his score as his team, Pentagon, is playing in the third-place classification game.
