Ugandan striker Sadat Happy Ada Anaku has found a new home in the United States after completing a move to Hartford Athletic Football Club, opening an exciting new chapter in his career.
The 24 year old forward, admired for his energy and sharp left foot, has signed a two year deal and will wear the number 14 jersey.
He joins the American side as a free agent following a short stint with KCCA FC last season.
For Anaku, this move is both a fresh start and another step in a journey that has taken him from Kampala’s vibrant football scene to the Scottish Premiership with Dundee United, where he gained valuable top flight experience.
Those lessons have molded him into a more composed and complete striker.
Known for his powerful shots, selfless play, and relentless work rate, Anaku is expected to strengthen Hartford’s attacking line as they gear up for the new season.
His knack for creating and finishing chances makes him a perfect fit for the club’s ambitions.
Anaku joins a growing list of Ugandan footballers thriving in the United States, including Bobosi Byaruhanga, Allan Oyirwoth, Toto Majub, Ibrahim Kasule, Edward Kizza, and Steven Sserwadda.
