The Uganda Premier League match between newly promoted sides Buhimba United Saints and Calvary FC was postponed on Friday evening after heavy rains left Royals Park in Butema unplayable.
Officials inspected the soaked pitch before kickoff and declared it unsafe, forcing the cancellation.
The decision disappointed fans who had turned up despite the downpour but was made to protect players and ensure fairness.
The league secretariat later confirmed the fixture will now be played on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the same venue.
