Coach Tolbert Onyango, on Friday morning, named the Uganda men’s squad to take part in the upcoming HSBC World Rugby 7s Challenger series in Dubai.
Stanbic Black Pirates enforcer Desire Ayera has made a full recovery from an injury sustained in last year’s National 7s (Stone City 7s) to add reinforcement to the forwards.
Skipper Ian Munyani and Denis Etwau, who were missing from the Safari 7s squad in November 2023, have returned at the expense of Mark Osuna and flyer Norbert Okeny, with the latter still nursing an ankle injury sustained in training.
