Moses Waiswa made his intentions clear moments after completing his club switch in the Uganda Premier League.

“I am delighted to join URA FC, a club known for its professionalism,” he said.

“I want to help the team finish higher and compete for trophies. I’m coming from winning environments, and I believe that experience will help me contribute positively.”

“I can’t wait to get started and repay the trust the management has shown in me. I am ready to give my all for the badge and the fans.”

Soon after, URA FC confirmed the experienced midfielder on a two year contract running from February 2026 to February 2028.

Waiswa joins the Tax Collectors as a free agent following the expiry of his deal at Vipers SC, becoming the club’s first mid season signing as they push for a stronger second half of the campaign.

URA are banking not only on his ability but also his mentality. Waiswa brings valuable experience from South Africa with SuperSport United FC and spells in Sweden at Växjö United FC and Syrianska FC.

Back home, he has featured for Vipers and KCCA FC, winning two league titles and a Uganda Cup. He is also a former FUFA Player of the Year.

URA FC lay 13th on the Premier League Log with 15 points in 17 matches.
