Tanzania displayed their strength with a well-rounded performance, securing their spot in the Regional Final after defeating Ghana by 7 wickets.

Ghana, led by their skipper Obed Harvey, could only manage 84/9 in 20 overs. Harvey played a crucial role with the bat, scoring 30 off 44 balls, but the Tanzanian bowlers were relentless.

Akhil Anil, who was later awarded Player of the Match, delivered an exceptional spell, taking 2-11 in 3 overs, while Khalidy Juma (2-15) and Harsheed Chohan (2-18) were equally impressive, ensuring Ghana’s batters never settled.

Under the leadership of Abhik Patwa, Tanzania’s strong showing has them heading into the final day of the tournament with an unbeaten record.

Malawi Crushes Cameroon to Secure Regional Final Spot

Malawi booked their place in the Regional Final with a dominant performance against Cameroon. Cameroon’s batting lineup crumbled, being bowled out for just 30 runs in 8.5 overs, as Malawi captain Moazzam Baig led from the front with a devastating spell of 5-4 in 1.5 overs, earning him the Player of the Match award.

He was well supported by Daniel Jakiel, who picked up 3-10, while Brian Dipita (8 off 3 balls) was the only Cameroon batter to offer any resistance.

Malawi made light work of the chase, scoring 31/1 in 2.5 overs. Sami Sohail and Donnex Kansonkho contributed to the swift chase, ensuring that Malawi secured a 9-wicket victory and qualified for the next stage alongside Tanzania.

Lesotho Secures First Tournament Victory with a Dominant Win Over Mali

Lesotho, led by skipper Mohamad Maaz Khan, recorded their first win of the tournament with an emphatic 112-run victory over Mali. Batting first, Lesotho posted 148/10 in 19.5 overs, thanks to a brilliant knock from Mohamad Maaz Khan, who smashed 61 off 36 balls.
