The FUFA Women Super League defending champions, Kampala Queens FC, will lose a very important staff member at the end of this season.

Sources close to Nnalubaale Sports, understands that Doctor Ronald Mutebi has decided to leave Kampala Queens FC at the end of this season.

After eight years serving the club as the team doctor, Mutebi has already informed his bosses that he’ll not work for the club beyond the current campaign.

It’s believed that Mutebi decided to leave to look for green pastures. He has been at different national teams and also served as the doctor of Kyadondo from 2018 to 2023 in the Masaza Cup.

At the end of the last week, Kampala Queens captain Zaina Namuleme stepped down from her leadership role and was replaced by goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro.

The Queens of Soccer are currently second on the table with 25 points, 3 points behind Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC as both sides in a race for a championship.
