As with the first announcement, Micheal Wokorach has taken to social media to silence any talks that he is walking from representing the nation on the international level.
Please disregard the rumors that I am retiring from international rugby. I am still part of the Uganda Sevens and only retired from captaincy of the team.
A luo man doesn’t retire on social media.
Thank you all for continuously supporting the Uganda Sevens.
Happy New Month!

To paraphrase Micheal as before, naffe ku Nnalubaale Sports tuli bantu, nafe tusobya batusonyiwe.
We ran a story implying that the evergreen Wokorach was exiting the international 7s game to stick to the local expeditions.
And, also embrace family duties. According to the man himself, in a tweet for clarity, he’s still here.
It is also possible (we’re doing it again) that he just decided to make it two-for-two since he pulled off this very move in the 15s version.
In 2019, Wokorach announced that he would step away from the 15-a-side game and then rescinded the decision saying he would be available for the game if he were ever called upon.
