Uganda National Basketball team star, Adam Seiko penned a summer league contract with NBA’s Golden State Warriors, for the league that will start next month.

Seiko holds the record for the most wins in San Diego Aztecs history with 120 victories on his back.

In his senior year at San Diego, Seiko posted impressive shooting percentages of 45.6% from the field and 45.8% from beyond the arc.

His ability to knock down shots from deep, combined with his defensive skills, has made him a standout player in the program’s history.

It is worth noting that Seiko went undrafted in the recently concluded 2023 NBA Draft, but he will use this rare chance to convince the Warriors and keep his NBA dream alive.

Seiko will have an opportunity to showcase his abilities during the 2023 Summer League in Las Vegas, where the Warriors will face off against the likes of the Lakers, Pelicans, Mavericks, and Rockets.

This league provides a platform for rookies and young players to prove themselves and earn a spot on the upcoming season’s roster.

Seiko becomes the second Silverbacks player to join an NBA team after Ishmail Wainright who is signed to Phoenix Suns.
