2026 Uganda Cup | R32 | Tuesday February 24

  • Kitara FC Vs Entebbe UPPC FC – 3 pm

All eyes turn to Royals Park, Butema this Tuesday as Kitara FC host Entebbe UPPC in one of the Plascon Co-sponsored Uganda Cup Round of 32’s most intriguing fixtures.

Both sides, among the league’s top five, are chasing a deep cup run this season.

Kitara captain Jasper Aheebwa, back from suspension, said:

Kitara Football Club Captain Jasper Aheebwa.

“We know it’s a knockout game. We are prepared and will give our all to reach the final 16. We lost our last game to them, but we are at home and have the advantage. We call on our fans to come out with me.”

Kitara will rely on home support, remaining unbeaten at Royals Park since a 1-0 loss to Buhimba United Saints in October 2025.

Coach Wasswa Bbosa warned of a tough challenge against a disciplined Entebbe UPPC side that has kept eight consecutive clean sheets:

“We are facing an organized opponent. It won’t be easy, but playing at home gives us confidence to finish the job.”

The Printers welcome back captain Mustafa Mujjuzi from suspension and could field new signing Samuel Nsubuga.

Kitara advanced past Obule Earth Quake FC 1-0 through John Bosco Byaruhanga, while Entebbe edged Koboko’s Ombachi Pride FC with a Fazil Tumwine strike.

Kitara holds a perfect Uganda Cup record against Entebbe, winning 2-0 in 2024 and 2-1 in 2025.

Despite a 1-0 league defeat to the same opponents earlier this season, home advantage and new signings Shaban Muhammad and Kabon Living give Kitara hope of reaching the Round of 16.

In the other day’s Uganda Cup fixture, Vipers SC will host Pajule Lions in Kitende at 8 pm.
