Express FC has unveiled Jimmy Kintu Mweru as the club’s new head coach, ushering in a fresh chapter for the Red Eagles following the exit of Badru Kaddu Mukasa last week.

Kintu joins Express after parting ways with Calvary FC, where his stint ended following a 4-2 loss to Entebbe UPPC in Yumbe.

He will be assisted by Richard Malinga, the former Mbale Heroes coach.

The duo takes charge of a side currently 7th in the Uganda Premier League, with 8 points from six matches.

Their immediate challenge will be to restore consistency and spark a revival in one of Uganda’s most storied football clubs.

Fans will get their first glimpse of Kintu’s leadership when Express visits Lugazi FC in Najjembe after the international break.
