- JT Jaguars 79-62 KCCA Panthers
The JT Jaguars secured a convincing 79-62 victory over the KCCA Panthers in a National Basketball League (NBL) matchup on Sunday, capping off a tough weekend for the Panthers.
The Jaguars wasted no time asserting their dominance, taking a seven-point lead after the first quarter (18-11).
Though the Panthers improved their offensive rhythm in the second quarter, they still entered halftime trailing 39-31.
After the break, the Jaguars tightened their defense and extended the gap to 53-41 by the end of the third quarter.
The Panthers struggled to close the deficit in the final frame, and Aaron John Eboyu sealed the win with a long-range shot late in the game.

JT Jaguars’ big man Peter Sifuma was the standout performer, delivering a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, controlling the paint on both ends of the floor.
For the Panthers, Stanley Mugerwa led the scoring with 15 points, while Gaius Mahamba contributed 11 points.
However, their efforts weren’t enough to overcome the Jaguars’ balanced attack and defensive pressure.
This loss added to the Panthers’ woes after falling to the Kampala Rockets on Friday, making it a winless weekend.
The Jaguars’ depth and composure under head coach Sudi Ulanga continue to fuel their strong campaign with 7 wins so far, while the Panthers, coached by Raymond Muhumuza, will look to come together once again and bounce back in their next outing.
