JT Jaguars sent shockwaves through the National Basketball League on Friday night with a dominant 65–50 win over defending champions City Oilers at Lugogo Indoor Arena.

The Oilers came in on a four-game winning streak, but the Jaguars led by coach Sudi Ulanga were sharp from the start and never let up.

They jumped to an 18–12 lead after the first quarter, despite a late layup from Mer Maker. That was as close as the Oilers would get.

Chuma Fadhili, who finished with a game-high 13 points, nailed a fadeaway three at the halftime buzzer to stretch the lead to 10.

Aaron John Eboyu sliced through the defense in the third, pushing the margin to 12, while Mark Were added steady support. Eboyu and Were both scored 11 points, underscoring the Jaguars’ balanced attack.

The Oilers, known for their experience, looked flat. Only Joseph Chuma reached double figures with 11 points. Benjamin Kawani was perfect at the line, but the team struggled from the field and trailed by 15 at the end.
