Four-time Uganda Premier League champions URA FC have confirmed they have parted ways with forward Living Kabon, ending his two-year stay with the Tax Collectors.

Kabon’s contract expires at the end of June but the two parties have decided against renewing, following unsuccessful negotiations.

In the previous 2022/23 season, he was the club’s second-leading scorer having bagged five goals and three assists.

He becomes the third Taxman to depart after Ronald Kigongo and Salim Abdalla who were earlier released.

Kabon joined URA from Onduparaka FC where he stamped his name as one of the finest players to feature for the Caterpillars.

He had scored eleven league goals with Onduparaka in the 2020/21 season, which attracted the Tax Collectors into a deal.

He now remains a free agent, but reports have it newly promoted side Kitara FC have expressed interest in securing his services.
