The Uganda Futsal Super League continues to showcase with Kabowa Dream Team and Old Kampala Futsal Club taking a perfect start to three games, while Edgars held Lubiri Falcons for their first point in the heated battle.

All the games took place at Old Kampala Futsal Arena on November 14, with the Men’s Super League playing three games and two in the Women’s Super League.

In the early kickoff, Kabowa Dream Team overpowered Nansana Aska with a 7-3 easy win, recording a third successive win from the start of the season.

To console, Muhammad Zakaria scored twice and Akram Matovu added on the late third goal, but all of it was in vain since Kabowa Dream Team was already comfortable in the lead.

In the second game of the Men’s Super League, Old Kampala Futsal Club proved to be a new force in the game, despite beating Lubaga Grameen 6-1, Again, the result does not reflect the performance.

It was a game that Old Kampala Futsal Club dominated the most, with every player working towards the cause in unity to lift each other in the game. Michael Abura opened the score in the first minute, Abaasi Muluya added the second, before Bruno Ssegirinya pulled a goal back for the Grameens.

Ssegirinya’s goal was the last moment to recall for Grameen as they immediately faltered, with Muluya finding his second of the day. Later in the first half, Ilyasi Omran was introduced after crossing from Kisenyi FC.

Earlier in the second half, Abura completed his brace. A few minutes later, Abura won a penalty from Ssegirinya’s handball, grabbed the ball to complete his hat-trick, but the technical team subbed in Ilyasi to take the penalty and took him off after scoring his first goal for the club.

Later, Muluya completed his hat-trick to seal the 6-1 win, guiding the newly joined team to their second physical win in as many games played. The other game their opponent, UG Kop, requested to postpone, but rumors continue to circulate that they have withdrawn from the league.
