Kampala Queens FC are set to part ways with their head Coach Hamza Lutalo and his two assistants.

The Queens of soccer have already informed Lutalo, Kato Alimiya Ssenyange, and Solomon Mbowa to seek refuge elsewhere.

The Club’s patron is unhappy with the tactics and management of players by coach Hamza Lutalo and his two assistants.

Lutalo lost control of the dressing room and the coach-players fight cost the side with a double in the 2022/23 season.

Lutalo led the club to win their first-ever Super League title but they were ejected by Kawempe Muslim in the FUFA Women’s Cup.

In 2021, Kampala Queens failed to move out of the group stages of the FUFA Women Super League that were held in Njeru.

They appointed Hamza Lutalo as the head coach and Isma Mukiibi became his assistant the following season.

This paid off as the Queens finished second on the table as She Corporate FC won the league on goal difference.

Queens are in talks with Kawempe’s tactician Ayub Khalifa and he will be assisted by Shafic Mutebi who once served the club in 2021 if all goes as planned.

The club is also eyeing UPDF FC head coach Brian Ssenyondo as an option in case Khalifa turns down the deal.
