After five months as the head coach of Kampala Queens, Charles Kadidi Ssenyange has been sacked today along with five other members of the technical team.
The 2022/23 FUFA Women Super champions appointed Ssenyage on 12th July this year as the replacement of coach Hamza Lutalo and his immediate task was to take the team to the final tournament of the CAF Women’s Super League which he failed to make.
In the league this season, Kampala Queens have played four games under Ssenyange, and he has left the club at the top of the log with 10 points after winning three games and drawing once.

In the press release, the club confirmed that only Tonny Mawejje the assistant coach, Ronald Mutebi the team doctor and Cissy Nakiguba the team manager, are the only staff members staying with the club.
“The club has agreed further to the same arrangement with all technical staff except Mr Mawejje Tonny (Assistant Coach), Mutebi Ronald (team doctor) and Cissy Nakiguba (camp administrator).”
Other members of the technical team who have been sacked are; Shafic Mutebi who has been the second assistant coach, Kawooya Sowedi the goalkeepers Coach, Apollo Nakibinge the Fitness and conditioning trainer, Harriet Nakuuba the physiotherapist and Ssentumbwe Arafat the Kits Manager.
At Kampala Queens, Ssenyage has coached a total of 8 games, won five games, lost one and two games were draws.
The club will soon announce the appointment of the new technical team before the league resumes in the first week of January 2024.
