In a rally for reaching the FUFA Big League, Kampala Regional League Club Mutungo FC has unveiled the list of their players with shirt numbers.
The unveiling took place over the weekend and confirmed that the team has kept first-choice Goalkeeper Stuarts Matovu, who recently attracted interest from Uganda Premier League club Express FC.
For 2025-2026, the highly promising custodian will wear shirt number 31 as he continues building his career at Mutungo FC.
At the club, he will be competing with number 12 Simon Ssemakula and number 46 Shafiq Mukungu.
New signings Dickson Kigongo was handed shirt number 20, Deogracious Adule became number 17, Majid Edema will don number 43, Rogers Mudekete was named number 14, and Robert Okello will wear number 15.
On the same note, long-serving player Talibu Yakole will continue to wear 25, while Midfielder Muhammad Lubega will also continue with shirt 10 as Captain Patrick Mukuza putting on 24.
With the top two tiers already kicked off, the third division is next, awaiting its start, as Mutungo FC sets for its third campaign in the third division, having qualified to the tier in 2023 from the Nakawa fourth division.
