2025/2026 Kampala Regional League
- Mbogo FC 2-0 Kisugu United FC
Electric winger Hamza Kasumba Ssenseko scored twice with superb strikes in either half to give Mbogo FC a comfortable win over 10-man Kisugu United on their Kampala Regional League New Format debut.
In the second match of the double header played at FUFA Stadium Kadiba on Sunday, November 2, Kasumba opened the score in the 35th minute and later sealed it late in the second half.
Kisugu United finished the game with 10 men following the sending off of Steven Bakka for his foul on Joseph Enjama, which occurred on the halfway line of the pitch.
From the start of the game, Mbogo FC stood out as the best team. In the beginning, Abdul Razak Takuba was the threat, but the game rhythm shifted to settle well in the hands of the best players in the match, Kasumba and William Sseryange.
Earlier in the day at the same venue, Proline FC shared the spoils with 10-man Lufula FC 1-1. Proline’s Morris Okello won the man of the match for his goal.
The league will continue on Tuesday with six matches taking place at different venues in Kampala.
