Uganda’s third-tier Kampala Regional League has become much loved by Uganda’s football governing body for adopting the unwanted football format.
On Friday, October 24, the league had a new fixture release with big changes from the fixtures that were released a few weeks prior.
In the new fixtures, the league is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, November 2, with the opening two fixtures staged as a double header at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba, both to be broadcast on FUFA TV, additionally on the 800 million funding.
On the opening day of the league, Lufula FC will play Proline FC at 4:00 PM while Mbogo SC will host Kisugu United at 7:00 PM.
After the opening games, matchday 1 will continue on Tuesday, November 4, with six more fixtures. In the anticipated game on Tuesday, Mutungo FC will travel to play a Nakawa derby against Water FC at UICT Nakawa.
In the first released fixtures, which were called off a few hours before kickoff, Mutungo FC was to visit Black Stars at Express FC grounds in Kanyananya.
