Mutungo FC started the Kampala Regional League with a 4-0 win over Water FC as Geoffrey Ssali and Deogracious Adule bagged braces.
At the same time, Patrick Mukuza Bango shines with an assist hat trick.
The game that took place at UICT Nakawa, started with Mutungo FC netting twice through Ssali in the opening 20 minutes of the game.
Mukuza set up the first goal, Adule assisted the second goal before getting a goal to his name from Mukuza’s cross helping Mutungo FC lead the first half 3-0.
In the second half, Charles Ayeiko coached side Water FC tried to raise their socks but remained unmatched by Mutungo.
Later, through a buildup started by Captain Aaron Musime involved with Mukuza, Innocent Tumuhimbise, Majid Edema before the final ball finding Adule who notched it into the net.
With an outstanding start to the season, Mutungo FC will return to action at Luzira Prisons hosting Kireka United in another Nakawa derby on Saturday, November 8.
Off Mutungo FC, Kireka United won 1-0 over Lukuli Hearts, Black Star away from home defeated Buganda Road 4-3, Nsambya and Wembley Boys drew 3-3 while Born Talent held PCCP FC 1-1.
