Flashy attacking midfielder Innocent Tumuhimbise scored an 89th minute equalizer to help his side, Mutungo FC, draw against Nsambya SC 1-1 at Luzira Prisons ground on Monday, November 17.
Legendary striker Tony Odur put the visitors in the lead with a goal scored in the 5th minute of the game, becoming another game in which Nsambya dropped points from a lead.
With the 1-1 draw, Mutungo FC is now four games unbeaten, with the likes of Proline FC, PCCP FC, Edgars FC, and Born Talent FC.
Out of the four games, Mutungo FC have won twice and drawn twice to sit in the second position on the Kampala Regional League table with 6 points, just behind leader Proline FC on the number of goals scored, 8 and 7 respectively.
Meanwhile, Nsambya, with their third draw from the four games played so far this season, remain 12th with 3 points, as they bounced back from a Lukuli Hearts defeat in the last game.
Following the wrap-up of matchday four, the league shall commence over the coming weekend, with Mutungo FC visiting Lungujja Galaxy at IUIU Kabojjo, while Nsambya will host Black Stars at Yes Center, both games are scheduled for Sunday, November 23.
On Saturday, November 22, there will be three games: Edgars FC will host Kisugu United at Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium; Buganda Road FC will host Lufula FC (their co-host) at Kanyananya Express ground; while Water FC will host Mbogo FC at UICT Nakawa.
On Sunday, there will be four games: Kireka United FC hosting Proline FC at Kings Park Bweyogere; Born Talent FC will host Police Young FC at Kyambogo College; Ntinda United FC will welcome Lukuli Hearts UTD FC at Highland SS – Kisasi at 2:00 PM; and Wembley Boys FC will host PCCP FC at Kibuli S.S.
