Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC sponsors revealed

The new sponsors for Women’s Football giants Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC have been revealed ahead of the new season.

Earlier, Nnalubaale Sports revealed that Kawempe had secured three sponsors and now, the sponsors are known and to be unveiled in less than two weeks.

Crystal Mineral Water, Riham and Shakazulu Foods are the three sponsors that will be sponsoring Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC starting with the 2023/24 season.

The team is also expected to sign some foreign players to boost their squad ahead of the new season.

The Valley Warriors have a rich history in women’s football, having won the most titles in the league.

They have also produced a number of top players, including Sandra Nabweteme, Hasifah Nassuna, Ruth Aturo, Tracy Jones Akiror, Juliet Nalukenge, Yudaya Nakayenze, and many others.

Last season’s MVP and top scorer in the FUFA Women Super League, Shakirah Nyinagahirwa, is also a player of Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and is currently on loan at Kampala Queens FC.

The team is coached by Ayub Khalifah, who is regarded as the best coach in women’s football in Uganda.

Meanwhile, Kawempe Muslim SS, the feeders of Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, recently won the FEASSSA title in girl’s football in Rwanda and 2023 TICAD CUP in Uganda last Sunday.

The sponsorships are a major boost for Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and will help them to challenge Kampala Queens who won the FUFA Women’s Super League last season.
