Big spenders and defending champions Kampala Queens’ dream of winning the FUFA Women Super League unbeaten was shuttered once again.

The same opponent, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC who denied them the invincible title last season defeated them 2-0 at Philip Omondi Stadium Lugogo on Wednesday.

Teenage sensation Agnes Nabukenya was on target twice as coach Ayub Khalifah Kiyinji’s side stretched its unbeaten run to four games.

An attacking midfielder played as a striker on the day, Nabukenya, punished Queens goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro‘s howler in the 25th minute.

Kampala Queens pushed for an equalizer before the break but Kawempe’s custodian Juliet Adeke denied them several times and this was the same script later in the second half to keep a clean sheet.

Nabukenya’s second with a minute to the halftime break, off a well-weighted cross from Samalie Nakacwa put the students’ side in full control at 2-0.

They managed to neutralize all threats from the assistant Crested Cranes coach Charles Ayiekoh Lukula‘s side, who was managing his first game for the Queens.
