Kawempe Muslim reclaim top spot in Fufa Women Super League

Kawempe Muslim Women Football Club reclaimed the top spot in the Finance Trust Bank Women Super League with a 3-1 win over Tooro Queens.

In the revised fixture played at Kawempe Valley Ground on 22 December 2024, Kawempe had three different scorers on the day.

Samalie Nakacwa, Hadijah Nandago and Agness Nabukenya all scored to give the on-form side a fortune over Tooro Queens.

Sarah Nabbowa scored a consolation goal but Kawempe Muslim was already comfortable in control.

With the win, Kawempe Muslim took their points tally to 24 in 10 games passing Amus Collage who was leading the table with 21 points from 11 games.

Kawempe Muslim will return to action with another rescheduled match against Kampala Queens on Saturday 28 December at Kawempe Valley Ground.

Going it the fixture, Kampala Queens defeated Olila High School 3-0 on Saturday 21st December 2024 at Omondi Stadium Lugogo.

Elsewhere Uganda Martyrs defeated Lady Doves 2-0.
