St. Noa Girls, the defending champions, are also in Group A along with Kawempe Muslim SS, GS Gatiso (Rwanda), Ziba SS (Tanzania), and two schools from Kenya.

Other representatives from Uganda include Amus College and Sacred Heart SS Gulu, who replaced Mukono Parents High School.

The 2023 FEASSSA games are expected to be a closely contested affair, with a number of talented teams in contention for the title.

Kawempe Muslim SS will be looking to avenge their defeat to St. Noa in the 2021 USSSA games, and they will be confident of their chances of success in Rwanda.
