Today, in an electrifying press conference held at Legends, the Kampala Old Boys Rugby Football Club (KOBs RFC) proudly unveiled their new team jersey for the 2025 season.
This landmark moment, supported by their dedicated sponsor KCB Bank Uganda, signifies a renewed commitment to excellence, unity, and the pursuit of victory both on and off the field.
The new kit, emblazoned with KCB Bank Uganda’s branding alongside NRG Radio, marks the dawn of a thrilling era for KOBs RFC.
The jersey’s launch, which was delayed due to a scheduling conflict with the league title sponsor, now sets the stage for an exciting season opener against the formidable Black Pirates this weekend.
With this fresh look, KOBs are ready to charge into battle, carrying the strength and spirit of their sponsors with them.
A significant highlight of this launch is the enhanced sponsorship commitment from KCB Bank Uganda.
The bank recently announced an impressive UGX 195 million sponsorship package for the upcoming year, with UGX 50 million dedicated specifically to kit procurement.
This financial boost reaffirms the deepening bond between KCB Bank Uganda and KOBs RFC, ensuring the team is well-equipped to compete at the highest level.

Speaking at the event, Professor Dr Tonny Luggya Stone, Chairman of KCB-KOBs RFC, expressed his enthusiasm:
