KCCA FC names Magera and Ssenyondo as Co-Coaches

โ€จKCCA Football Club has appointed Jackson Magera Kaddu and Brian Ssenyondo as co-coaches of the senior menโ€™s team, effective immediately.

The club announced the decision in a statement, describing it as part of a strategy to strengthen the technical team with a blend of experience, tactical ability and deep football knowledge.

Magera, a well-known figure at KCCA, returns to the top bench after serving in multiple roles, including Head Coach of the KCCA Soccer Academy, Senior Assistant Coach, Interim Head Coach and national U-15 and U-17 team boss.

โ€œHis understanding of the clubโ€™s DNA will be instrumental in this new role,โ€ the club said.

Ssenyondo, one of the countryโ€™s promising young coaches, joins with a strong rรฉsumรฉ. He led Kitara FC to Stanbic Uganda Cup victory and guided Ugandaโ€™s U-17 national team to a historic FIFA World Cup appearance. He has also coached at Synergy FC, Mbarara City, and Kitara.

โ€œHis fresh perspective is expected to complement Mageraโ€™s deep connection to the club,โ€ the statement added.

KCCA FC will hope that the pairing will bring renewed energy and direction to the team.
