KCCA Football Club has appointed Jackson Magera Kaddu and Brian Ssenyondo as co-coaches of the senior men’s team, effective immediately.
The club announced the decision in a statement, describing it as part of a strategy to strengthen the technical team with a blend of experience, tactical ability and deep football knowledge.
Magera, a well-known figure at KCCA, returns to the top bench after serving in multiple roles, including Head Coach of the KCCA Soccer Academy, Senior Assistant Coach, Interim Head Coach and national U-15 and U-17 team boss.
“His understanding of the club’s DNA will be instrumental in this new role,” the club said.
Ssenyondo, one of the country’s promising young coaches, joins with a strong résumé. He led Kitara FC to Stanbic Uganda Cup victory and guided Uganda’s U-17 national team to a historic FIFA World Cup appearance. He has also coached at Synergy FC, Mbarara City, and Kitara.
“His fresh perspective is expected to complement Magera’s deep connection to the club,” the statement added.
KCCA FC will hope that the pairing will bring renewed energy and direction to the team.
