Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC will be seeking their first victory of the Uganda Premier League season when they take on Arua Hill SC at Paridi Stadium in Adjumani on Tuesday.

Both teams are winless in their first five games, with KCCA suffering defeats to NEC, Kitara, Express, Maroons, and BUL, while Arua Hill have lost to Mbarara City, Gaddafi, BUL, Vipers, and Busoga United.

Matches between KCCA and Arua Hill have always been end to end. Last season Arua Hill beat KCCA 3-1 at home before the Lugogo side avenged in the return leg with 3-2 win.

KCCA coach Jackson Magera has called on his players to show more character and responsibility if they want to get a positive result against Arua Hill.

“We need to be responsible for whatever we do. We have tried to see that we regain the confidence of the players so that they can start to win again.”

“We have to show character in whatever we do. We have to prove our worth since we are a big club,” Magera said.

Arua Hill coach Livingstone Mbabazi believes his team have what it takes to pick up their first win of the season if they play to their potential.

“We have to be prepared for a tough journey. I believe we have what it takes to pick our first victory this season,” Mbabazi said.
